Nevertheless We Persisted: Putting ASTOP to Sexual Assault

 

On Thursday, April 13th at 6 P.M., Meredith Birmingham, Prevention Educator from ASTOP, will present statistics about sexual assault in America and offer ideas on what we can do as a community to support survivors of sexual abuse. She will also discuss the assistance ASTOP provides, offering treatment, outreach, prevention, and advocacy, emphasizing hope and connection to self and others.

Teen-Only NERF Battle @ Your Library

Teens-only (12+) Nerf Battle @ Your Library!
Gear up for some after-hours fun on Friday, April 28th at 6 P.M. at the Ripon Public Library. Outfit yourself with a NERF™ gun and then release your stress with a game of zombies vs. humans & more during this teens-only event brought back by popular demand. NERF™ guns, “Elite” dart-style ammo, glow sticks, and snacks provided. Feel free to B.Y.O.B (bring your own unmodified blaster) too! “Elite” dart-style NERF™ guns only, please.  Parents will need to stop by the library before the event to sign a waiver form in order for their teen to participate. Waivers will be available at the circulation desk the week of the event, or at drop off the evening of the event.


An Adults-only version of this much-loved program will be offered on Friday, May 12th at 6 P.M.

**Parent/Guardian will need to sign a waiver for their teen in order for them to participate.**
