Hunger Games Event

Hunger Games Challenge

Teens 12 and older are invited to compete in Ripon Public Library’s Hunger Games Event on Thursday, July 19 at 3:30 p.m.  A series of challenges, inspired by the Hunger Games trilogy written by Suzanne Collins, awaits participants. Knowledge and skills beneficial to one’s survival will be tested at various training stations! Camouflage is encouraged while frosting cookies at Peeta’s Bakery. Competition will be fierce in a variety of games requiring a balance of cunning, brains and brawn. Make your district proud, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

A good competitor always plans ahead. Mark the calendar for the release date of the movie based on the book - Saturday, August 18. Don’t miss out on an afterhours showing of the movie at 7 P.M. on the same date.
