Campfire and s'mores start at 7:30 P.M. Saturday, August 13, at Riggs County Park's entrance off of Hwy 23. Enjoy tasty s'mores and a story or two as the sun sets, Informed Stargazing to follow.
At 8:00 P.M., Paul Kinzer, Starlab Director, guides stargazers on a tour of the night sky with Mars & Saturn visible and a chance of meteor showers. Telescopes and binoculars provided. Maps available at the circulation desk.
This free library program is open to the public and is part of the Ripon Noon Kiwanis' annual Doug Lyke Run/Walk and Picnic which will take place at the Douglas Street Entrance of Riggs County Park.
