Sugar Blues

Are you the type of person who craves sweets and it's getting the best of you? Do you have low energy in the middle of the day? Join Brenda Block, Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, for a free educational class at Ripon Public Library on Tuesday, May 9th at 7 P.M. to end your sugar blues! Block will equip you with the knowledge you need to permanently change your relationship with sugar. You will leave this class with an understanding of the causes of sugar cravings and the tools you need to deal with them. It’s not about deprivation. It’s about freedom! Eat the foods you love and have sweetness in your life without the side effects or the guilt. Come join in on the fun!

Adults-only NERF Battle @ Your Library

Embrace your inner child during a night of after-hours fun on Friday, January 6th at 6 P.M. at the Ripon Public Library. Outfit yourself with a NERF™ gun and then release your stress with a game of zombies vs. humans & more during this adults-only event. Perfect for busy parents who are in need of some adult time or college students who need a study break! NERF™ guns, “Elite” ammo, glow sticks, and snacks provided. Feel free to B.Y.O.B (bring your own unmodified blaster) too! “Elite” dart-style NERF™ guns only, please. Attendees will need to sign a waiver in order to participate.

Teen-Only NERF Battle @ Your Library


Teens-only (12+) Nerf Battle @ Your Library!
Gear up for some after-hours fun on Friday, December 9th at 6 P.M. at the Ripon Public Library. Outfit yourself with a NERF™ gun and then release your stress with a game of zombies vs. humans & more during this teens-only event brought back by popular demand. NERF™ guns, “Elite” ammo, glow sticks, and snacks provided. Feel free to B.Y.O.B (bring your own unmodified blaster) too! “Elite” dart-style NERF™ guns only, please. Parents will need to stop by the library before the event to sign a waiver form in order for their teen to participate. Waivers will be available at the circulation desk the week of the event, or at drop off the evening of the event.


An Adults-only version of this much-loved program will be offered on Friday, January 6th at 6 P.M.

**Parent/Guardian will need to sign a waiver for their teen in order for them to participate.**
