Women's Health Talk

As a woman, you tend to nurture your partner, children, employer, and community. Are you focusing on everyone else first? Join Brenda Block, Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, at one of two sessions, for this lecture on nourishing and caring for yourself as a woman: Tuesday, April 5 @ 6 P.M. OR Wednesday, April 6 @ 10 A.M. at Ripon Public Library.

S'mores & Informed Stargazing w/ Paul Kinzer @ Riggs County Park

Campfire and s'mores start at 7:30 P.M. at Riggs County Park's entrance off of Hwy 23. Enjoy tasty s'mores and a story or two as the sun sets, Informed Stargazing to follow.

At 8:00 P.M., Paul Kinzer, Starlab Director, guides stargazers on a tour of the night sky with Mars & Saturn visible and a chance of meteor showers. Telescopes and binoculars provided. MAps available at the circulation desk.

Following the FAFSA: What happens after you file

After completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®), you still need to take action to learn how much federal financial aid you are eligible to receive. Learn what steps you need to take after you submit your FAFSA® by attending this FREE informative session. This workshop explains everything that happens after a student hits "submit" on their FAFSA.

Students will learn how to:

  • Watch for their Student Aid Report and understand how to review it
  • Evaluate their Expected Family Contribution and know what it means
  • Make corrections to their FAFSA
  • Prepare for verification and know what financial documentation they may need to provide
  • Compare financial aid award letters from colleges
