Heroes to Animals in Need (Family Program)

Presented by the Marsh Haven Nature Center, this live animal program features rescued animals, both domestic and wild.  Gain a new appreciation for these heroic animals while hearing their stories and learning about area wildlife.

Family Events are aimed at a juvenile audience and their caretakers.

Part of the 2015 Summer Reading Program, sponsored by the Friends of the Ripon Public Library.

Friends of the Library Annual Meeting featuring Elvis Tribute Artist John Hardginski

Rock out to the classic tunes of Elvis Tribute Artist, John Hardginski, on Sunday, April 26th at 2:00 P.M. at the Ripon Public Library.

Elvis John’s award-winning, high-energy performance will have music lovers of all ages delighting in the music and moves of the King of Rock and Roll.

Hardginski first performed as Elvis John during a contest in 2012 and has since been playing venues in the Fox Valley Area. He was crowned winner of the Oshkosh Kings of the Valley contest two years in a row, and earned a spot as a finalist at Elvis Fest in Necedah, WI.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Ripon Public Library and will follow the 1:30 P.M. Friends’ annual business meeting in the Silver Creek Room. Both concert and meeting are free and open to the public.

Adult Game Night - Featuring "Tokaido" - Tuesday, April 21 @ 6 P.M.

Adult Game Night meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 P.M. In April, gamers will play Tokaido, from the creator of 7 Wonders.

In Tokaido, each player is a traveler crossing the "East sea road", one of the most magnificent roads of Japan. While traveling, you will meet people, taste fine meals, collect beautiful items, discover great panoramas, and visit temples and wild places but at the end of the day, when everyone has arrived at the end of the road you'll have to be the most initiated traveler – which means that you'll have to be the one who discovered the most interesting and varied things.
