Land Water Connection: hands-on mini-camp (Family Event)

Stephanie Prellwitz of the Green Lake Association guides participants through an exploration of the heroic relationships between healthy land and healthy water. You can’t have one without the other!

Family Events are aimed at a juvenile audience and their caretakers.

RESCHEDUED -Star Party: Informed Stargazing (All Ages)

WEDS. JULY 1st—8:15 P.M.: Campfire & S’mores in Riggs County Park’s entrance off of Hwy 23. Enjoy tasty s’mores and a story or two as the sun sets, Informed Stargazing to follow—

WEDS. JULY 1st—9 P.M.: Paul Kinzer, Starlab director, guides stargazers on a tour of the night sky & the brightest double planet pairing - Jupiter and Venus - which will be visible to the naked eye after sunset.  Telescopes and binculars provided. Rain date set for July 1st. Maps available at the circulation desk.
