Karl Stewart, author of three books, including the award winning The Legend of See Bird: Devil’s Backbone, will be at the Ripon Public Library on Tuesday, June 14, at 6 pm for a photo presentation and talk on his recently completed nature safari to Tanzania, in east Africa. Armed only with a camera, Mr. Stewart spent several weeks touring the area with a small group of sightseers, a tour which included tenting in the spectacular Serengeti for several nights and a visit to Oldupai Gorge. The public is invited, and admission is free. Come, see, and enjoy a visit to an area sometimes referred to as the Garden of Eden.
