Meet the team, learn the ins and outs of their line of work, witness evidence from past ghost hunting investigations and share your own paranormal experiences.

Who Gets Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate: The Inheritance Process

Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate: The Inheritance Process

Thursday, November 10th @ 2:00 P.M.

Join Shelley Tidemann, Wisconsin Association for Home and Community Education (WAHCE) State Liaison, on Thursday, October 4th at 2:00 P.M. for a presentation about the inheritance process at Ripon Public Library. Passing on non-titled personal possessions can be a daunting task. This informative session will help you prepare for inheritance issues following a death of family crisis, during a move to an apartment or nursing home, or in preparing an individual’s estate.

Research has identified six primary factors to consider in the process of transferring non-titled property. Planning ahead allows for more choices, the opportunity for communication and hopefully fewer misunderstandings during these difficult transitions.

Shelley Tidemann is the Family Living Educator and Co-Dept. Head for UW Extension Fond du Lac County. She has been an Extension Educator for 32 years and her work addresses financial literacy education, human development and leadership education.

Revisit the remarkable history of the Green Bay Packers and get geared up for the 2016 Packer season!

After a career as a history teacher and school superintendent in Wisconsin, Jim Rice began writing about the Packers in 2011. Four four books later, and he's sharing what he's learned in Why we love the Packers!  Using hundreds of photographs of his old football cards, newspapers, and magazines, Rice brings the seasons to life, and fans enjoy watching for their favorite players in nearly a century of unprecedented Packer success.

Jim Rice, the author of 92 Years!  Bears-Packers 1921-2013, is originally from Long Island New York.  He attended Marquette University and then pursued a career in education for 35+ years.  Rice retired in 2010 after serving as the School Superintendent in Neosho, Wisconsin from 1998-2010.

Rice first wrote Giant Cheeseheads shortly after retiring.  This book details the close and interesting relationship between the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers.  His second book, Great Games of the Gridiron, details the great NFL championship games before the first Super Bowl after the 1966 season.  Thirty three championship games are reviewed.  Many legendary teams and stars make their mark on the NFL’s biggest stage.

92 Years! is Rice’s complete account of every game between the Bears and the Packers from 1921-2014.  The details of each game are here, as well as all the antics surrounding the rivalry.  His latest work, Green Bay’s 13 Championship Seasons, goes into detail about each of Green Bay’s 13 NFL titles. Each regular season is examined and all the postseason action is included.
