Ripon Public Library proudly supports Read On Wisconsin! ROW is a literacy program which promotes high-quality books for children, from babies to teens, throughout the state. Following the school calendar, each month, September through May, features a book for five different age-levels. The 2012-13 ROW choices have been on display at the Ripon Public Library and readers have been reading them!
Now it’s time for those readers to reap extra reading rewards in the form of a pizza & prizes party, to be held on Thursday, May 30 from 4-6 p.m. at the Ripon Public Library. This special event is reserved for those who have read a substantial number of books on their age group’s reading list. Please call the library, 748-6160 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, to preregister so enough pizza can be ordered for all.
Read On Wisconsin began as on online book club created by former Wisconsin First Lady Jessica Doyle in 2004. In 2011, the Cooperative Children’s Book Center (CCBC) of the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison took over administering the Read On Wisconsin program.
