Meet Able the Dancing Chihuahua! Able dances freestyle with his partner, world renowned dog behavior expert, Amy Ammen. In his flamboyant costume, Able “cuts a rug,” spinning, jumping, and weaving to his favorite up-tempo tunes. ALL AGES!

Though all eyes will be on Able, his trainer, Amy Ammen has a remarkable story and impressive credentials of her own. In 1975 Amy got her first dog, a Siberian Husky named Tess. Puppy love soon morphed into complete exasperation. Convinced that Tess was un-trainable, they enrolled in obedience school where miraculous changes happened. Tess eventually became a terrific companion and one of the few High in Trial Utility Dog titled huskies in history. (The UD takes jumping, retrieving, and concentrating to the highest level of training.) Tess’s youthful obstinacy was, ironically, a catalyst for Amy’s career as not only a dog trainer, but also as a public speaker, host of both television and radio programs on dog training and obedience, and author of several notable books!
