Culver’s® restaurants and the Wisconsin Library Association Foundation are teaming up once again to kick-off the “COMMUNITIES THRIVE @ your library” drawing campaign. This is the fourteenth straight year local Culver’s restaurants in Wisconsin have sponsored this event, which encourages children to read and celebrate their favorite book characters.
During the month of April, children ages 11 and under can enter by picking up drawing sheets at the library. Children are encouraged to draw a book character that they would like to meet. When children return their coloring sheets to they will receive a “Be Our Guest” certificate for a free single scoop of frozen custard from participating Culver’s. They will also be entered into a random drawing to win an additional prize of a free Team Scoopie Kids Meal certificate. Drawings will be displayed at the library throughout the month of April.
The library's display cabinet has hosted a wonderful array of collections in 2011!
From baseballs to cameras, from preschool artwork to honoring our veterans, the case has served as a physical place to see and learn about the diverse interests of our local population.
Join this illustrious bunch!
Many thanks to our 2011 displayers who included: Grace Preschool, Myron Tews, Rich Hopfensperger, Sheryl Block-Krause, Mariel Brown, the VFW, and Dennis Selchow.
